podcast contributions.
Private contact details and information submitted solely for inquiries,
support, or accessibility assistance will not be published without your
permission.
3. Marketing And Promotional Use
WMOQ does not currently use information submitted through website forms for
newsletters or other marketing communications, including promotional emails,
text messages, or messages through other messaging apps.
WMOQ may still contact you to respond to your submission or handle the request
you made.
Submitting an inquiry or request through the website does not by itself
constitute blanket consent to receive unrelated marketing communications.
4. Sharing Of Information
WMOQ may disclose information to service providers that assist in operating,
maintaining, securing, or supporting the website and related services.
These providers may include website hosting and technical support providers,
email providers, security services, and providers of streaming, embedded, or
externally hosted content. Big Mountain Computers provides website hosting and
technical support and may access information when needed to perform that work.
The information available to a provider depends on the service being used.
Website form submissions are not automatically shared with streaming or video
providers. Those providers may receive technical information when a visitor's
browser connects to their services, as described below.
Other Sharing
WMOQ does not sell, rent, or exchange personal information submitted through
this website or listener/contact lists.
WMOQ does not share private website submissions with advertisers, sponsors,
contest partners, event organizers, affiliated businesses, podcast or program
partners, or other outside organizations, except for the operational
service-provider and legal or safety disclosures described in this section.
Content submitted for broadcast or publication may be made public as described
in Section 2. That public use is separate from sharing private submissions
with outside partners.
WMOQ may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with
applicable law or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property,
security, or safety of WMOQ, its users, or others.
5. Website Forms And Storage
Website form submissions are stored privately within the website's WordPress
system. The website includes forms for:
- Song requests
- General contact
- Advertising inquiries
- Remote broadcast requests
- Community event submissions
- Contest support
- Website and accessibility reports
- Podcast or guest inquiries
- Business supporter inquiries
Some forms allow restricted uploads, such as community event flyers or business
logos. Submitting a form does not automatically publish its contents.
Email notifications for advertising inquiries are sent to
liliana@wmoqfm.com. Notifications for other
website forms are sent to contact@wmoqfm.com.
Authorized station personnel review submissions and route inquiries to the
appropriate staff as needed.
6. Technical And Security Information
When a visitor interacts with the website, certain technical information may
be collected automatically for website operation, security, troubleshooting,
and abuse prevention. Depending on the interaction, this may include:
- Browser or device information
- The page from which a form was submitted
- Submission date and time
- Security-related information
- Internet Protocol (IP) address information in hosting or server logs
Website form security records use a salted hash derived from an IP address
rather than storing the IP address itself within the form record. A hashed
identifier is not a guarantee of anonymity.
Separate hosting or server logs may retain IP addresses as part of ordinary
server operation and security.
7. Cookies And Local Browser Storage
The website uses browser storage and cookies for website functionality:
- The audio player uses local browser storage to remember volume preferences.
- Administrative login areas use cookies for authorized station or website
personnel.
Third-party streaming and embedded-media services may use their own cookies
or browser storage.
WMOQ does not currently operate a separate website analytics platform,
advertising pixel, retargeting system, heatmap, or session-recording tool on
this website. Streaming and video providers may perform their own measurement.
If WMOQ introduces analytics, advertising tracking, or similar technology, we
will review and update this policy and provide any notices or choices required
by applicable law.
8. Streaming Audio
WMOQ provides online radio streaming through Cirrus / Securenet Systems.
When a visitor listens to the stream, the visitor's browser or device
communicates directly with the streaming provider. The provider may receive
technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, and
request information.
The provider's handling of information is subject to its own
Privacy Policy.
Listening to the WMOQ stream does not require a public WMOQ website account.
9. Embedded And Third-Party Content
The website may display or embed content supplied by third parties, including:
- YouTube videos or playlists
- Google-provided services associated with YouTube
- Streaming content
- Album artwork and thumbnails
- Links or content from external publishers
- Other remotely hosted media
When third-party content loads, your browser may communicate directly with
that third party. The third party may receive information such as your IP
address, browser or device information, and referring-page information.
We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed address where supported. This does not
make playback anonymous or eliminate third-party data collection. YouTube and
Google handle information under the
Google Privacy Policy.
Third-party websites and services operate under their own privacy policies.
WMOQ does not control the privacy practices of independent third parties.
10. External Links
The website may contain links to websites operated by advertisers, sponsors,
community organizations, news publishers, social media platforms, or other
third parties.
WMOQ does not control the privacy practices, content, or security of these
independent websites. Visitors should review an external website's privacy
practices before providing personal information to it.
11. Information Retention
WMOQ retains website information for operational and business purposes.
Under the current website configuration, closed or spam inquiry records become
eligible for scheduled deletion when the original submission is more than
365 days old.
Open or unresolved inquiries are not automatically deleted based solely on age
and may remain available until the inquiry is resolved or otherwise handled.
Different retention periods may apply to:
- Server and security logs
- Website backups
- Email correspondence
- Records that must be retained because of a dispute, investigation, legal
requirement, or other legitimate business need
Deletion from the active website does not necessarily result in immediate
deletion from existing system backups.
The ordinary inquiry-retention period does not delay deletion required by
applicable law, including the handling of children's information described
in Section 12.
12. Children's Privacy
WMOQ requires contest winners to be at least 18 years old and does not use
children as on-air participants.
The WMOQ website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to
children under 13. Children under 13 should not submit personal information
through the website's forms.
WMOQ does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children
under 13 through the website without any parental consent required by
applicable law.
If we learn that we have collected such information without the required
consent, we will stop using or disclosing it and promptly delete it, except
where applicable law requires retention. Our ordinary inquiry-retention period
does not delay this process.
A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has submitted personal
information may contact Marc McMain at
contact@wmoqfm.com or 706-438-3060 to request review
and deletion. We may take reasonable steps to verify the requester's
relationship to the child.
13. Intended Audience
The WMOQ website is intended primarily for listeners, businesses,
organizations, and other visitors in the United States.
Visitors outside the United States may also access the website. Information
is processed in the United States, and third-party providers may process
information in other countries. This description of our intended audience
does not limit any privacy protections required by applicable law.
14. Information Security
WMOQ and its technology providers use administrative and technical measures
intended to protect website information from unauthorized access, disclosure,
alteration, loss, or misuse.
Access to private website submissions is limited to authorized personnel and
service providers who require access for legitimate operational or technical
purposes.
No internet-connected system or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed
to be completely secure.
15. Your Privacy Requests
Visitors may contact WMOQ regarding personal information submitted through

requests may concern:

16. Changes To This Privacy Policy
WMOQ may update this policy when its website, services, business practices,
providers, or information-handling practices change.
The current version will be posted at wmoqfm.com with its effective or
last-updated date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent for
changes where required by applicable law.
